看大学名字

学校名称的顺序非常重要，比如英国大部分大学的名称都是The University of XXXX。
但是在日常生活中为了方便，我们会直接说XXXX University。所以骗子便钻了这个空子。
举个例子，Manchester Union University和The University of Manchester这两所学校都位于英国曼彻斯特。
可前一个是野鸡大学（现在已经被勒令关闭），而后一个才是著名的红砖大学、百年名校曼彻斯特大学。

看大学网站域名

正规英国大学官网后缀一般都是“ac.uk”，野鸡大学一般申请不到这种域名。

查询建校时间

建校的长短也是判断一所学校是否有野鸡大学的好办法，如果学校建校时间很短，你就要多加防范了呀。

认准官方认证的大学

中国教育部经常更新外国高等学校名单；另外，Higher Education Degree Datacheck 高等教育学位检验机构也会对英国大学做一些调查，发现有学位欺诈的大学，HEDD会进行查处，鉴别国外大学是否“野鸡”入口。
